KVK is the Dutch business registry. For company accounts, verification is required for professional features. For artists it is completely optional — unverified artists still get full music upload access. Verification unlocks exclusive group creation, gig alerts and the verified badge. We also support UK Companies House, German Handelsregister and others.
We are targeting beta launch on iOS and Android in Q3 2025, starting with the Netherlands and Belgium. Waitlist members get priority access before the public launch. Join the waitlist now to guarantee a founding member spot.
Never. OffRecord has a strict no-advertising policy built into the company's founding principles. We do not sell advertising and we do not sell user data. Revenue comes from subscriptions, group commissions and verification fees — based on real value, not your attention.
Yes. You can upgrade your account type at any time from within the app settings. Your username, followers and history all transfer. Upgrading from fan to artist or company is always possible.
No — OffRecord is built to be a global platform. We launch first in the Netherlands and Belgium because that is our home market. The app supports multiple country registries, multiple languages are planned, and the map works worldwide. Anyone can join the waitlist right now.
OffRecord takes a 15% commission on exclusive group subscription revenue. Companies pay monthly subscriptions for verified status and professional features. Artists can optionally boost their Stage posts. We earn small referral commissions on ticket sales through the map. All revenue comes from value created on the platform.
OffRecord is purpose-built for the music industry with three specific account types, a verified identity layer, a live gig map, an industry job board and a revenue-sharing community system. Instagram and TikTok sell advertising — OffRecord serves artists, fans and industry professionals. The algorithm works for musicians, not against them.
